Boston College F Craig Smith suffers knee injury
CHESTNUT HILL, Massachusetts - Boston College forward Craig Smith suffered a knee injury playing basketball last weekend and will undergo surgery on Friday.
The school announced that Smith will undergo the arthroscopic procedure to repair a torn meniscus and will be sidelined two to four weeks. The first official practice for Boston College is October 18.
Smith averaged 19.9 points and 7.9 rebounds last season as a freshman and earned All-Big East Conference second-team honors.
