MISSOULA -- Missoula Sentinel all-state basketball player Jordan Hasquet has verbally committed to play at the University of Montana, said his father, Pete Hasquet.
As a junior, the 6-foot-8 Hasquet averaged 17.5 points, 2.9 blocked shots, 2.7 assists and a Class AA high 11.5 rebounds. He also shot 55 percent from the floor and 42 percent from 3-point range.
Hasquet's mother is former University of Montana standout Doris Deden.
Hasquet cannot officially sign with the Grizzlies until early November.
