DURANT, Okla. -- Romar Crenshaw caught two touchdown passes and ran back an 80-yard punt for another score as Southeastern Oklahoma beat Texas A&M-Commerce 31-6 on Saturday.
Crenshaw's first-quarter scoring receptions, a 78-yarder and a 32-yarder, gave the Savages (4-1) an early 14-0 advantage.
A&M-Commerce (1-4) trimmed the deficit to 14-6 on a 1-yard run in the second quarter by Joel Tudman. But Drew Beard hit Michael Mooney with a 54-yard pass a short time later and Southeastern Oklahoma went up 21-6.
Crewshaw's punt return came as time expired in the first half and John White hit a 32-yard field goal in the third quarter to wrap up scoring.
Beard completed 11-of-23 passes for 243 yards and an interception. Crenshaw had two catches for 110 yards and two touchdowns, while Mooney had six receptions for 109 yards for Southeastern Oklahoma.
Texas A&M-Commerce quarterback Miles Durham hit 15-of-26 passes for 125 yards and an interception.
