MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Concordia-Moorhead scored in its first possession and then scored two defensive touchdowns within the first five minutes to jump out to an early lead and beat visiting Hamline 57-14 Saturday.
Concordia (4-3, 3-1 MIAC) led 36-0 at halftime behind Jeremy Hinderks' two touchdowns in the first quarter and Ryan Hebrink's rushing score from nine yards out before the end of the half.
Hamline (1-4, 0-4) had two scoring drives in the second half. Andy Gagnon threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Dan Ryks to cap a nine-play, 53-yard drive.
The Pipers were held to just 13 rushing yards on the ground and 210 yards total. The Cobbers rushed for 402 yards and racked up 598 yards of total offense.
