Minn.-Duluth 73, Waldorf 6
DULUTH, Minn. -- Seven different Minnesota-Duluth players scored touchdowns and the team ran up 414 rushing yards as the Bulldogs trampled Waldorf 73-6 Saturday.
Dave Rufledt led the scoring for the Bulldogs (3-2, 1-1 NSIC) with two rushing touchdowns and 138 yards for the game. Andrew Bungum, Cash Langeness, Drew Partanen, Mike Hoyord, Tim Battaglia and Greg Demain all scored touchdowns for the Bulldogs.
Cash Langeness threw two touchdown passes in addition to his rushing touchdown and Ted Pelzer threw one touchdown pass and completed all four passes he attempted.
Waldorf had a net loss of 39 yards rushing. Waldorf (0-6) edged Duluth in passing yardage, 203 to 187. The Bulldogs finished the day with 601 total offensive yards and Waldorf finished with 164.
Waldorf's Michael Lewis was sacked six times.
