Titans CB Rolle to miss 3-6 weeks with dilocated elbow

NASHVILLE, Tennessee - Samari Rolle, the Tennessee Titans top cornerback, will miss three to six weeks with a dislocated left elbow.

Rolle was hurt early in the first quarter in Sunday's 38-30 loss at New England. Coach Jeff Fisher confirmed Monday that Rolle will miss at least three weeks.

"There may potentially be a slight chip in the elbow which is not going to cause him to miss any more (time) had there not been a chip," Fisher said. "They reduced it on the field and doctors are saying right now it could be anywhere from three to six weeks with him."

With Rolle sidelined, the Titans will use second-year player Tony Beckham at right cornerback. A fourth-round pick last season out of Division III Wisconsin-Stout, Beckham missed a tackle Sunday that helped set up a Patriots field goal.

Losing Rolle is another blow for the Titans, who lost linebacker Peter Sirmon on September 28 with two broken bones in his back. Defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth also has missed the last three games with a dislocated left elbow.
