DICKINSON, N.D. -- A sophomore from Dakota State and a junior from Jamestown College are this week's DAC 10 football players of the week.
Dakota State sophomore wide receiver Tommy Hofer was honored for tying his own school record with 13 catches in a loss against Minot State 49-42 over the weekend.
Hofer, of Lennox, S.D., gained 156 yards with 13 receptions and scored three touchdowns. He led the NAIA and the DAC 10 in catches per game going into the weekend.
Jamestown junior defensive lineman Scott Geiszler took defensive honors for three quarterback sacks, three tackles for a loss and a forced fumble in his team's 21-20 victory over Mayville State.
