QB's timetable for jogging set back

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Injured Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick said Monday he was in too much pain to jog on a treadmill, a goal he set for himself last week.

According to team trainer Ron Medlin, Vick walked quickly on a treadmill Saturday, but unable to jog. Vick has been out since fracturing his right leg in a preseason game Aug. 16.

Vick is no longer walking with a limp, adding that he will try work on the treadmill again Tuesday. He has all but ruled out trying to play next Monday night when the Falcons (1-4) visit St. Louis (2-2).
