BELTON, Texas -- Isaac Shaw and Justin Bryson each rushed for two touchdowns as Mary Hardin-Baylor won its 16th straight regular season game with a 67-7 win over Mississippi College on Saturday.
Shaw scored on runs of 38 and seven yards and finished with 91 yards rushing. Bryson had 75 yards rushing and scored on runs of five and six yards.
Mary Hardin-Baylor's Cody Fredenburg threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to P.J. Williams with 10:21 left in the first quarter for the game's first score. The Crusaders then scored on their next five possessions to lead 39-0.
Fredenberg was 6-of-8 for 103 yards and no interceptions.
Mary Hardin-Baylor (5-0, 4-0 American Southwest) set a school record for most first-half points with 53. The 60-point margin of victory is also a school record.
Mississippi College (2-3, 1-3) managed just 138 yards of total offense and had six turnovers while Mary Hardin-Baylor had 525 offensive yards and turned the ball over once.
Dusty Finley passed for 118 yards and was 10-of-24, including an 8-yard pass to Charmer Moore for Mississippi College's only touchdown.
