NC State DE Moses out for year with torn ACL, MCL
RALEIGH, North Carolina - North Carolina State defensive end Renaldo Moses, who emerged as a key player for the Wolfpack, will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
North Carolina State confirmed that Moses suffered a torn ACL and MCL in Saturday's 31-24 win over Connecticut and is expected to undergo reconstructive surgery.
A sophomore, Moses moved into the starting lineup this season and had 26 tackles and three sacks.
North Carolina State (4-3) also will be without guard Ricky Fowler and cornerback Lamont Reid for Thursday's home game with Clemson.
Fowler had arthroscopic knee surgery and Reid has a shoulder subluxation. Both players were hurt in the win over Connecticut.
