Stanford center out for season with knee injury
STANFORD, Calif. -- Stanford center Brian Head will miss the remainder of the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
Head, a sophomore, will undergo surgery in the coming weeks. He was injured during the Cardinal's 44-14 loss at Southern California on Saturday.
Senior backup Drew Caylor will move into the starting job beginning with this Saturday's home game against No. 6 Washington State.
