Jaguars cut Taylor, sign LB Humphrey
Humphrey, 27, spent three seasons with the Carolina Panthers and San Diego Chargers from 2000-02. He played in 22 games, with 21 tackles and one fumble recovery on special teams. He was out of football in 2002.
"It was just a case of wanting to upgrade the backup linebacker position and to help us on special teams," Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said.
Taylor played in two game for the Jaguars this season, making one tackle on special teams. He missed two games with a calf injury.
