Virginia's Clark kept from practice, games
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Virginia forward Jason Clark won't be allowed to practice or play with the Cavaliers, coach Pete Gillen said Thursday.
"Jason Clark will not be with the team at the present time in practice or games," Gillen said.
He declined to say why the action was taken or if Clark would be allowed to return to the team at some point in the season.
Clark, a 6-foot-8 junior, played in 31 games last season, starting 15. He averaged 4.7 points and 2.5 rebounds and was second on the team with 25 blocked shots. He shot 70.7 percent from the field.
