Chrebet out with back injury
Updated: October 17, 2003, 9:03 PM ET
HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. -- Jets receiver Wayne Chrebet will not play against the Houston Texans on Sunday because of a sore back.
Coach Herman Edwards said Chrebet will have an MRI on his back, which he injured against the Bills last week. Chrebet also had a migraine headache against the Bills, and Edwards said the headaches have not completely gone away.
Chrebet did not practice this week. Curtis Conway will start in his place.
"His back was bothering him and it was all week," Edwards said. "He couldn't run. He doesn't feel really well. He has headaches at times."
