Texas A&M-Kingsville 42, Northeastern State 13

KINGSVILLE, Texas -- Larry Williams ran for three touchdowns and Daniel Taylor ran for two scores and threw for another as Texas A&M-Kingsville beat Northeastern State 42-13 Saturday night.

The game was tied at seven in the second quarter when Williams scored from 2 yards out to give Texas A&M-Kingsville (5-1, 4-0 Lone Star) the 14-7 lead. He added another 2-yarder less than two minutes later. Williams also had a 13-yard score and finished with 75 yards rushing on 19 carries.

Taylor's 6-yard touchdown run gave the Javelinas a 28-7 halftime lead.

Taylor was 14-of-21 for 307 yards passing. He found Brent Holmes on a 13-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Craig Fulton rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown for Northeastern State (1-5, 0-4).
