Carolina linebacker knocked out with concussion
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina linebacker Dan Morgan was knocked of out Sunday's game against Tennessee with a concussion.
Morgan was injured early in the first quarter when he tried to tackle Drew Bennett. He lay on the ground for several moments squirming his legs while he was attended to, then was helped off the field.
The Panthers announced the concussion in the third quarter.
Also, linebacker Brian Allen was knocked out of the game with a strained groin.
Morgan, Carolina's first-round draft pick in 2001, has missed 15 games over his career because of injury. He missed two earlier this year with a pulled hamstring.
