JONESBORO, Ark. -- After a weekend off, Arkansas State's football team got down to business Monday, preparing for its matchup with Utah State.
The team had three days off before Monday's workout. The Indians (3-4, 1-1 Sun Belt Conference) finished their non-conference schedule two weeks ago with a 55-0 loss to Ole Miss.
"We came back very refreshed and a little bit rusty," coach Steve Roberts said. "We put the ball on the ground a few times today on the exchange. We've got to clean all that up, but it wasn't a bad day's work."
Roberts also said the time off gave some players a chance to heal injuries and return to practice.
Kickoff Saturday is 2 p.m. Central in Logan, Utah.
