HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. -- The New York Jets cut fourth-string quarterback Jamie Martin on Wednesday.

Martin, signed when Chad Pennington broke his left wrist in the preseason, became expendable when Pennington got healthy. Pennington is slated to play Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Martin never played in a game for the Jets.

The Jets also signed guard Brandon Moore to the active roster from the practice squad, and running back Little John Flowers and offensive tackle Will Ofenheusle were re-signed to the practice squad.
