LORETTO, Pa. -- Scott Dolch threw for 242 yards and four touchdowns on just 11 completions as Central Connecticut State beat St. Francis of Pennsylvania 35-28 on Saturday.

Cory Harge added 107 yards on 21 carries for Central Connecticut (2-6, 1-4 Northeast Conference) and made the score 35-14 early in the fourth quarter on a 17-yard run before St. Francis (1-7, 0-5) staged a late rally.

Ricky Taylor's 2-yard run capped a 5-play, 88-yard drive that cut the lead to 35-21 with 9:13 left.

Louis Motley cut the lead to 35-28 when he scored on a 3-yard pass from Anthony Doria, capping a 4-play, 19-yard drive that began after Dolch threw an interception deep in his own territory.

St. Francis couldn't recover the ensuing onside kick and, being out of time outs, watched Central Connecticut run out the final two minutes of the game.

Doria finished the game 16-of-34 for 224 yards and also threw an interception.

Michael Hall and Taylor each had rushing touchdowns for St. Francis, and finished with 62 and 57 yards, respectively. Hall had an 11-yard touchdown run to open the scoring. Ivan Hicks also scored for St. Francis when he returned a fumble 5 yards for a touchdown.

Two of Dolch's touchdown passes went to Akeem Watson, who finished with 55 yards receiving on four catches. Nick Dresko and Mike Malone caught Dolch's other two passes of 28 and 35 yards.
