St. Peter's 20, Siena 16

COLONIE, N.Y. -- Sean Mayers rushed for 170 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner, to lead St. Peter's over Siena 20-16 Saturday.

The Peahens (1-7) overcame a 16-13 deficit when Mayers had a 16-yard TD run with 2:45 to play.

Siena (0-8) tied the game at 13-13 and took the lead on Charles Conklin's two field goals in the third quarter. Conklin also put the Saints on the board with a 45-yard field goal in the first quarter.

St. Peter's took a 13-3 lead when Steven Taylor scored on a 74-yard pass from Andre Harris in the first quarter and Mayers ran for a 59-yard touchdown in the second.

Siena's Joe Piascik made it 13-10 when he scored on a 16-yard pass from Christian Karolus.

Karolus completed 9 of 17 passes for 113 yards, and Sal Jeraci rushed for 71 yards on 26 carries for the Saints.
