WAYNE, Neb. -- Brett Edwards threw for three touchdowns on just 90 passing yards Saturday, leading Wayne State over Minnesota-Crookston 30-18.

Edwards connected with Eric Kjar on 15- and 34-yard scoring passes. He also hit Zach Molacek with an 8-yard TD pass.

Edwards was 8 of 17 passing for Wayne State (3-5, 2-3 NSIC). Wayne State's Tyler Chambers rushed for 111 yards on 13 carries, including a 67-yard scoring run.

Jason Simmons led Crookston (2-7, 1-5) by scoring on 12- and 11-yard runs in the second half as the Golden Eagles tried to jump-start their offense.
