PORTALES, N.M. -- Lee Price kicked a 46-yard field goal in the second quarter and Eastern New Mexico's defense did the rest as the Greyhounds beat Texas A&M-Commerce 10-3 Saturday in the Lone Star Conference.
ENMU (6-2, 2-2) held Texas A&M-Commerce (1-7, 0-3) to 252 total yards.
Eastern New Mexico had 275 yards rushing against a defense that was leading the Lone Star Conference against the rush, giving up 98.7 yards a game.
Jason Tezeno gave ENMU a 7-0 lead with 8:37 left in the first quarter when he scored from a yard out. The lone touchdown in the game ended an 80-yard, eight-play drive by the Greyhounds.
Texas A&M-Commerce's only points came on a 31-yard field goal by Jason Hankins with 48 seconds left in the second quarter.
