OXFORD, Miss. -- Arkansas running back Cedric Cobbs did not play Saturday night against Mississippi because of a hamstring injury.
Cobbs, the Southeastern Conference's leading rusher, did not make the trip with the team. He was averaging 121 yards per game.
De'Arrius Howard, the Razorbacks' No. 2 tailback, did not start because of an ankle injury but was in uniform.
Third-teamer Kyle Dickerson started at tailback for No. 21 Arkansas, the top rushing team in the SEC.
The 5-foot-9 sophomore came into the game with just two carries for 5 yards.
