DB Heard out four to five weeks with sprained knee
SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- San Francisco safety Ronnie Heard will miss four to five weeks with a sprained left knee.
Heard, the 49ers' top reserve defensive back and a key special teams player, was hurt in San Francisco 16-13 overtime loss to Arizona on Sunday. The fourth-year pro has one interception this season after getting four last season.
Jason Webster, a three-year starter at cornerback for San Francisco, is expected to return from a knee injury in two weeks.
