IRVING, Texas -- Dallas offensive linemen Larry Allen and Flozell Adams were hurt in the first half of Sunday's game against Washington.

Allen was sidelined for a few plays in the first quarter, but he returned in the second quarter. He then stayed on the turf after blocking on a Dallas field goal attempt that was nullified by a penalty and left again.

Team officials said Allen had a sprained left knee. He was back in the game on Dallas' first drive of the second half.

Adams left the game because of a bruised right shoulder and returned for the next series.

The Cowboys were also without starting tackle Ryan Young, who was inactive because of a knee injury. Center Gennaro DiNapoli was put on injured reserve last week because of an ankle injury.
