Griese gets another start with Fiedler still rehabbing
Fiedler sprained a ligament in his left knee against New England on Oct. 19 and has practiced sparingly since. He was the No. 3 quarterback Sunday against Indianapolis.
With Fiedler still experiencing soreness and wanting more lateral movement, team doctors added more rest and less work to his rehab this week. But the Dolphins hope he will be able to back up Griese at Tennessee on Sunday.
"The goal now is to at least put him in a position to be the second," coach Dave Wannstedt said.
Griese, signed in the offseason to give the team more depth, completed 18 of 29 passes for 231 yards and a touchdown against the Colts. He also was sacked five times and fumbled twice.
He threw for 192 yards and three touchdowns in his debut against San Diego.
