Teen Pauline wins Big A's Ladies Handicap
NEW YORK -- Teen Pauline dashed through the swirling snow at Aqueduct, posting an easy victory Saturday in the $100,000 Ladies Handicap.
Sent right to the front by Irad Ortiz, Jr., Teen Pauline was in command throughout, beating Flash Forward by 10 3/4 lengths.
It was the second straight Aqueduct stakes win for the 4-year-old trained by Todd Pletcher. The 1-2 favorite ran the 1 1/8 miles in 1:49.78, paying $3.10, $2.70 and $2.10.
Flash Forward returned $6.10 and $3, and Centring paid $2.20 to show.
