Meeker Avenue, Kelli Got Frosty win Big A stakes

NEW YORK -- Meeker Avenue and Kelli Got Frosty won the $125,000 New York Stallion Stakes for 2-year-olds on Sunday at Aqueduct.
Meeker Avenue, the 3-5 favorite, beat Laila's Jazz by a nose in the open division to remain perfect at 2 for 2.
Ramon Dominguez was aboard for trainer Dominick Schettino as Meeker Avenue ran the six furlongs in 1:10.96, paying $3.20 to win.
Kelli Got Frosty defeated P J's Superego, the even-money favorite, by a half-length in the filly division.
Joel Rosario rode for trainer Rudy Rodriguez as Kelli Got Frosty earned her second win in four starts. She was timed in 1:09.91, paying $10.60 to win.
