NEW YORK -- Ode to Sami rallied from last to beat the pacesetting Natalie Victoria by a half-length Friday in the $69,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.
Javier Castellano was aboard for his third win of the day as the 3-year-old, trained by Gary Contessa, won for the fifth time in 17 starts. The time was 1:38.62 for the mile.
Ode to Sami paid $6.60, $3.40 and $2.50. Natalie Victoria returned $5 and $3.70, and Belle Gallantey paid $7.10 to show.
