San Pablo wins the Big A's Queens County Stakes

NEW YORK -- San Pablo, the 2-5 favorite, dug in to hold off Gallant Fields by a half-length Saturday in $73,500 Queens County Stakes at Aqueduct.
The 4-year-old colt trained by Todd Pletcher and ridden by Chris DeCarlo earned his fourth win in the last five starts. The time was 1:51.84 for the 1 1/8 miles in the mud.
San Pablo paid $2.90, $2.50 and $2.10. Gallant Fields returned $3.40 and $2.30, and Isn't He Perfect paid $2.30 to show.
