The Only Key wins Santa Anita feature
ARCADIA, Calif. -- The Only Key defeated Nobilis by 31/4 lengths to win the $58,000 feature at Santa Anita on Friday
Ridden by Kevin Krigger, The Only Key ran 11/4 miles on the turf in 1:59.45 and paid $16.80, $6.80 and $4.20. It was Krigger's fourth winner on the card.
Nobilis returned $3.60 and $3.40 as the 8-5 favorite, while Roxelana was another length back in third and paid $3.40 to show.
The victory, worth $34,800, increased The Only Key's career earnings to 97,443, with five wins in 22 starts. He is owned by former Santa Anita president Ron Charles.
Trainer Doug O'Neill saddled four winners on the card, including three with Krigger aboard.
