DENVER -- The Colorado Rockies on Friday invited five minor league free agents to spring training.

The non-roster invitees are left-handed pitchers Micah Bowie, Chris George, and John Koronka, along with catcher Mike Rose and infielder Matt Kata.

All five have major league experience, including the 27-year-old Koronka, who in the 2006 season started 23 games for Texas and went 7-7 with a 5.69 ERA. He ranked second among American League rookies in starts and innings pitched.

He started only two games last season and is 8-11 in the majors with a lifetime ERA of 6.02.
