President of IBF joins Hall of Fame board
COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. -- International Baseball Federation president Harvey W. Schiller has been elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame's board of directors.
Schiller previously served as chairman and CEO of Yankees/Nets and as a member of the United States Olympic Committee.
Schiller is the 19th member of the board, joining other notables George Steinbrenner, Brooks Robinson, and Joe Morgan.
