DETROIT -- Carlos Gonzalez was a very late scratch from the Colorado Rockies lineup Sunday in Detroit.
With Tigers starter Max Scherzer already warming up for the first inning, the Rockies announced that Gonzalez had been taken out of the lineup with right hamstring soreness, and that Dexter Fowler would take his spot in the lineup.
Gonzalez is hitting .335 with 17 homers and 51 RBIs this season.
