Cubs designate RHP Coleman for assignment

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Cubs have designated right-handed pitcher Casey Coleman for assignment to make room for newcomer Scott Feldman on their 40-man roster.
The Cubs announced the move on Wednesday after agreeing the previous day to a one-year deal with Feldman, the former Texas Rangers pitcher.
Coleman was 0-2 with a 7.40 ERA in 17 appearances last season. He is 7-13 with a 5.76 ERA in three seasons.
