Clippers waive Rebraca; sign Conroy
LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Clippers waived center Zeljko Rebraca on Friday and signed guard Will Conroy.
Conroy, who has been playing for the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA Development League, joins the Clippers for the second time this season. He appeared in 42 games for the 66ers, averaging 15.0 points, 10.6 assists and 5.1 rebounds.
Rebraca has been sidelined all season with a back injury. He underwent surgery in January to remove herniated disc fragments.
He also has played with Detroit and Atlanta over his five-year NBA career. During his two seasons with the Clippers, Rebraca averaged 5.6 points and 2.9 rebounds in a total of 87 appearances.
Rebraca signed with Los Angeles as a free agent in 2004.
