SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The Sacramento Kings waived seldom-used guard Will Solomon on Friday after just 14 games with the club.

The Kings picked up Solomon from the Toronto Raptors in a three-way trade on Feb. 19. He averaged 5.0 points and 1.5 rebounds for Sacramento, but had played just once in the Kings' last seven games while battling minor injuries.

Solomon played overseas for six years before joining the Raptors this season. He was scheduled to be a free agent this summer.
