Rockets PG Beverley to start Game 2 vs Thunder
OKLAHOMA CITY -- The Houston Rockets are changing their starting lineup for Game 2 of their playoff series against Oklahoma City, inserting backup point guard Patrick Beverley in place of rookie power forward Greg Smith.
Beverley did not start a game during the regular season, moving into the rotation halfway through the season and averaging 5.6 points. He had 11 points and four assists in Houston's 120-91 Game 1 loss on Sunday night.
Smith had six points and three rebounds in 17 minutes in that game, finishing with a team-worst plus-minus rating of minus-34.
