Radford easily handles Central Pennsylvania 95-68
RADFORD, Va. -- Rashun Davis scored 16 points and Radford snapped a four-game losing streak, beating Central Pennsylvania 95-68 on Saturday.
Ya Ya Anderson had 15 points and Blake Smith added 13 for the Highlanders (6-7), who pulled away early in the first half and ultimately never trailed in the contest.
Radford went on a 10-0 run that was capped by Smith's 3-pointer to give it a 31-16 lead with 8:38 left in the first half. Davis, who 5 of 8 from the floor and knocked down all of his six free throws, scored four points and had an assist during the spurt.
The Highlanders went into halftime with a 49-26 advantage, pulling ahead by as many as 36 points in the second half en route to the victory.
In the loss, Devon Dorsey scored 23 points and grabbed 16 rebounds for Central Penn, a Division II team. Montez Lacy had 11 points.
