Daly, Biermann receive first-team honors from The Sports Network
PHILADELPHIA -- Montana State linebacker Bobby Daly and Montana defensive end Kroy Biermann have been named to the 2007 Sports Network All-America team for FCS schools.
Biermann is a senior from Hardin and was this year's Buck Buchanan Award winner and Big Sky Conference defensive MVP. He finished second in the nation with 15 sacks. He also had 17 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles and 68 total tackles.
Daly, a junior from Helena, led the Big Sky Conference with 135 tackles, with an average of 12.3 per game. He also had five sacks and 15.5 tackles for losses.
Montana punter Tyson Johnson earned second team honors while Griz kicker Dan Carpenter received third-team honors.
UM players Lex Hilliard, Colin Dow, J.D. Quinn, Brent Russem, Craig Mettler and Colt Anderson received honorable mention.
