Michigan State DL coach Ted Gill won't be back
EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Michigan State has decided not to renew the contract of defensive line coach Ted Gill.
Spartans coach Mark Dantonio made the announcement Friday night.
Dantonio says Gill was a contributing member of his coaching staff for nine seasons, including the last six years at Michigan State. Gill previously worked with Dantonio when he was Cincinnati's coach.
Gill started his coaching career at Idaho State, where he played. He went on to be an assistant with Utah, New Mexico State, Ball State, Cornell, Army, North Carolina, Rice, Iowa, Oklahoma State, the NFL's Carolina Panthers, XFL's Los Angeles Extreme and the CFL's Montreal Alouettes.
