CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- Monique Reid scored 14 points in just 10 minutes, and No. 8 Louisville routed Austin Peay 90-52 Thursday night in the Cardinals' first road game this season.

Reid is playing limited minutes after a left knee injury ended her season last December. The senior made the most of her time in the first half, hitting six of seven shots and grabbing five rebounds with two steals.

Shoni Schimmel and Shawnta' Dyer each added 12 points for Louisville (3-0). The Cardinals (3-0) trailed only 2-0 and took the lead for good on a couple 3-pointers by Antonita Slaughter.

Leslie Martinez had 14 points for Austin Peay (0-2). The Lady Govs from the Ohio Valley Conference were hosting a Top 10 team for the first time and led off the opening bucket by Kaitlyn Hill. They went cold after pulling to 30-27, and Louisville took control with a 14-0 run.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Christina Foggie scored 17 of her 19 points in the second half to lead No. 13 Vanderbilt.

The Commodores (3-0) shot 53 percent (16 of 30) in the second half to break open a game they led 23-18 at halftime. They shot just 35 percent (9 of 26) in the opening 20 minutes, including 0 for 6 on 3-pointers.

Foggie, the Southeastern Conference's leading scorer last season, got 15 of her points, including a pair of 3s, in the opening 9:26 of the second half, when Vanderbilt outscored the Blazers (2-1) to take a 51-27 lead. The Commodores outscored UAB 26-10 in the paint in the half.

Tiffany Clarke added 14 points for Vanderbilt and Kady Schrann had 11.

Amber Jones scored 15 points and Kelsie Weynand 14 to lead the Blazers, who were trying for their first 3-0 start since 1994-95.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Meighan Simmons scored 22 points to lead four Lady Vols in double figures as No. 24 Tennessee trounced Rice in the first home game of the post-Pat Summitt era.

Bashaara Graves added 18 points for Tennessee. Isabelle Harrison scored 16 points with 12 rebounds, and Kamiko Williams added 12 points.

Jessica Kuster scored 16 points and Megan Palmer had 15 for Rice (1-1).

Summitt, who led the Lady Vols to eight national titles in 38 seasons, stepped down in April after announcing last year she has early-onset dementia. She watched Thursday's game from a midcourt seat as the Lady Vols delivered the type of dominant performance they produced so often during her tenure.

Since getting stunned 80-71 at Chattanooga in Holly Warlick's head coaching debut, the Lady Vols (2-1) have had two straight one-sided victories.
