ST. PAUL, Minneapolis - Pro wrestler Brock Lesnar must have made quite an impression on Mike Tice.

The Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday signed the former World Wrestling Entertainment champion.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

According to the St. Pul Pioneer Press, Tice - the Vikings' coach - made the decision after putting Lesnar through a strenuous 45-minute workout.

"I'm excited," Lesnar told the newspaper. "All I ask for is the opportunity, and he's given me that."

The 6-3, 286-pound Lesnar, who hasn't played football since high school, will report to Vikings training camp Friday as a defensive tackle.
