Niners LB Moore out with strained knee

SAN FRANCISCO -- San Francisco 49ers linebacker Brandon Moore will be sidelined for at least a week with a strained knee.

Moore, a fifth-year pro who became a starter last season, was injured during the 49ers' 23-7 preseason loss to the Oakland Raiders on Sunday night. Rookie Parys Haralson also is sidelined indefinitely with a foot injury, and both will miss Saturday's game at Dallas.

The 49ers also cut linebacker David Dixon, a rookie free agent from a community college.
