FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- The New York Jets have signed wide receiver Raymond Webber and waived linebacker Matthias Berning.
Webber, of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, signed as an undrafted free agent with Tampa Bay last July and was placed on injured reserve in September. He was waived last month, claimed by Seattle and cut a week later.
Berning, from Central Michigan, joined the Jets, also as an undrafted free agent last July and was cut just before the season. Berning was added to the practice squad for one week, then released.
