NEW YORK -- Comments on the Green Bay Packers by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):

---

GREEN BAY PACKERS (7)

Chris Berman (ESPN, 7) -- Packers fans running out of refs to cheer.

Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 6) -- A close victory over the Saints could be the spark that gets the Packers rolling.

Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 8) -- Comment currently unavailable

Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 5) -- Survived the officiating to win at home. Still not perfect but they are figuring things out.

Bob Glauber (Newsday, 6) -- A week after that Monday night mess in Seattle, where the Packers lost on a disputed call on the final play, Pack sweats out one-point home win over reeling Saints. Aaron Rodgers and the offense look like they're supposed to.

Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 8) -- The Packers begin a rare three-game road trip this weekend at Indianapolis. Only two teams were assigned such trips in 2012, the Packers and Texans.

Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 9) -- Let's be honest: They should be 3-1, and they are the best team in their division.

Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 7) -- That was quite a shootout Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees staged at Lambeau.

Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 9) -- It looks like the Packer offense made some adjustments to the soft coverage's teams were playing and got back to scoring points. The defense did give up 446 yards passing and three touchdowns to Drew Brees, which is alarming.

John Lynch (Fox Sports, 9) -- The Packers bounced back from the debacle in Seattle and eked one out against the Saints.

Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 11) -- After last Sunday's 28-27 nail-biter against New Orleans, the Packers must hope that Saints quarterback Drew Brees' 446-yard performance isn't an indication that the pass defense has reverted to 2011 form.

Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 7) -- The Pack might have saved their season Sunday, or, more accurately, Saints kicker Garrett Hartley might have saved the Packers' season.
