Jets' Keller, Hill miss practice again
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- New York Jets tight end Dustin Keller and rookie wide receiver Stephen Hill both did not practice for the second straight day, leaving their availability to play undefeated Houston on Monday night uncertain.
Coach Rex Ryan says that the fact both missed practice Friday "isn't good," but adds that they're "getting better." Keller hasn't played since the season opener because of an injured right hamstring, while Hill missed last Sunday's game against San Francisco with a similar injury. Santonio Holmes was lost for the season with a foot injury last Sunday.
Nose tackle Sione Po'uha (back), fullback John Conner (hamstring), running back Joe McKnight (illness) and safety LaRon Landry (heel) and Eric Smith (hip, knee) also didn't practice -- although Landry's absence was due only to his normal day off.
