Garcon, Grant active for Redskins against Falcons
LANDOVER, Md. -- Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon is active for Washington's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Running back Ryan Grant also is active Sunday, the first time he's on the game-day roster for the Redskins since signing as a free agent last month after five years with the Green Bay Packers.
Out for Washington are cornerback Cedric Griffin (hamstring) and safety Brandon Meriweather, who re-injured his left knee in a pregame collision last week with receiver Aldrick Robinson.
The Falcons are missing fullback Lousaka Polite for the second consecutive game. He is nursing a sore hamstring; Jason Snelling is expected to start in Polite's place.
