RB Ivory active, LB Casillas out for Saints
NEW ORLEANS -- Saints running back Chris Ivory is active for the first time this season against San Diego on Sunday night, but New Orleans scratched linebacker Jonathan Casillas, who had been limited by a neck injury and was listed as questionable late in the week.
Ivory was the Saints' leading rusher in 2010 but the Saints have struggled to find room for him on game day with Pierre Thomas, Darren Sproles and Mark Ingram also in the lineup.
This week, Lance Moore (right hamstring), running back Travaris Cadet (right shoulder), defensive end Turk McBride (left ankle) and linebacker David Hawthorne (right hamstring) already had been ruled out.
San Diego was without kicker Nate Kaeding (right groin), who'd been ruled out earlier. San Diego's other inactives included former LSU safety Brandon Taylor.
