??AP Pro32 comments about Buccaneers??
NEW YORK -- Comments on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by the AP Pro32 panel (ranking in parentheses):
TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (25)
Chris Berman (ESPN, 26) -- Not to be taken lightly.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 24) -- A lot of young quarterbacks are outplaying Josh Freeman.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 28)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 25) -- Fresh off a bye ... I'm looking for dramatic improvement on both sides of the ball.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 23) -- Well, at least we got through a week without talking about kneeldowns. Then again, the Bucs didn't play. Home to Kansas City after a bye.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 29) -- The Bucs have back-to-back home games coming off their bye against Kansas City and New Orleans. Tampa Bay is 10-13 coming off bye weeks.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 28) -- One of these days, the Bucs will get a chance to practice their own kneeldowns.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 24) -- Paying a steep price under new coach Greg Schiano for failing to close out games.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 24) -- If Josh Freeman just turns it loose and gets back to 2010 this team will be fine. Otherwise they are going to stay in this area of the rankings all year.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 24) -- We have learned that the Greg Schiano-led Bucs will fight until the end. They are just a little short on talent and depth right now.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 21) -- After a 1-3 start, Bucs fans must hope that Greg Schiano was coaching more than ways to attack the "victory formation" during the team's bye week.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 25) -- They are 1-3 but they have been in every game in the fourth quarter.
